Guy is an experienced Camera Operator and Director of Photography, based in south London.
Extremely competent with both film and HD, Guy has shot a number of short and feature films, music videos, corporate web videos and television broadcast. Guy is also a confident Glidecam operator having worked on a range of projects including two series of Derren Brown with Objective productions.
Guy has been working freelance in the film and TV industry since 2005. The majority of his training has been done on the job but he has undertaken short courses at the National Film and Television School in 16mm and 35mm camera familiarisation and Lighting for Film and HD.
Further to working on drama, music videos, corporate and broadcast material, Guy has recently been working with young people in Buckinghamshire to produce short films, teaching them all aspects of the filmmaking process from initial concept through to editing. Guy has also been working closely with Mountview Academy drama school in north London for the last three years, working in the classroom as well as on location shooting over 30 short films, 40 music videos and over 100 showreel scenes for actors of all backgrounds and ages.
For 2010, Guy has teamed up with Shoreditch Film Training to offer tution in camera and lighting as well as offering 1-on-1 training to those wishing to gain more technical knowledge and guidance.
